Deputy-Speaker of the Kurdistan Parliament: Iraq suffers from lack of security

On Sunday, February 21, 2016 Dr. Jaffar Imniki received Luke Moon, Deputy Director of Philos Project and Juliana Taimoorazay, Iraqi Christian Relief Council Illinois Based Organization. In the meeting, he said that Iraq needs to be cooperated in term of security because it suffers from lack of security. He called for more assistance from western countries especially US. Regarding the Kurdistan Region, he stated that our strategy is to try to make a democratic country with cooperation of the central Government of Iraq. He added that for this purpose we need to be helped by other countries in the region and in the world.
For his part, Deputy Director of Philos Project expressed his pleasure for visiting Kurdistan and said that we are here to assist the people of Kurdistan in humanitarian issues.
